On May 20, the 51ÁÔÆæ College of Health Sciences officially launched the AI + Health Hub alongside friends at  and a packed room of community members, faculty, students, researchers and innovators.

Lawrence Richer, Associate Dean, Research for the College and Hub co-leads and Gillian Lemermeyer shared details about the initiative to bring together more than 120 researchers from ten faculties to improve preventative medicine, diagnostics, access to remote and underserved populations and support innovative research.

Guests also got to see up close how U of A artificial intelligence innovations are already providing real world impact with demonstrations of remote ultrasound tools, scribes for taking doctor's notes and so much more.
